Appearance

Sunset typically dresses in casual attire, dressed for utility and convenience rather than to impress. In most all circumstances, he wears his twin Peacemaker revolvers, as "An armed society is a polite society."

Public synopsis

In life Sunset was a gunslinger that called Chattanooga, TN home. He isn't shy about talking about his mortal family, readily talking about growing up as a preacher's son. The War of Northern Agression began in his late twenties and he, like many men he knew, took up arms and fought the Federal armies as a cavalryman.

Sunset achieved some measure of fame during the war for his sly maneuvering and heroism in battle, although he took great pains after his embrace to cover up most accounts of his existence. Most mortal records show nothing of the gunslinger turned Confederate officer in modern nights.

He is extremely closed lipped about his embrace, saying only that when a good man falls in a just conflict, the forces of heaven and hell both watch. After disappearing with his sire until the 1890's, Sunset resurfaced among the Carthians for a decade. By the turn of the century, Sunset was a proud member of the Ordo Dracul, leaving the Carthians for what he called a 'simple backwardsness of philosophy.'

Through the 1900's he would appear and disappear, calling no particular place home. Instead he would travel from area to area, making a living as a courier for those that could meet his price and tending to his studies for his covenant.

The next turn of the century brought another period of quiet, Sunset fading into near obscurity until the year 2006 when he emerged in Monterey for some time, lending his considerable occult experience in some issues concerning spirits and ley lines in that area. Why exactly he would clean up that area just to seek to set up a more permanent residence in San Francisco is a matter of some conjecture.
