The Police are investigating the disappearance of two of their officers. A Lt. Morris and a Sgt.
York are the investigating officers to the unsolved murder of a priest early in June. Sgt. Yorks family
is heartbroken over the disappearnce because he was just recovering from chemotherapy for brain cancer.
Police have leads from where the police cars locater last sent signals in the Mission Delores area.
Police ask for any with information to come forward.
May 14
The police arrived responding to a 911 call saying "There's a bloody man laying on the yard" of a
Lake Merced home at 12:24pm today. When arriving the Ambulance arrived the police noticed the house in
which the victim was found was broken into.
Inspection of the home revealed an unconscious female while the owner of the house was found murdered
in his basement. The police are looking for two individuals that entered the house and are wanted for
questioning. Both surviving victims are in the hospital under critical condition.
Neighbors describe the deceased as a "Quite and reserved man, always courteous and a volunteer for
the block watch."
May 15
Police find out from both victims that Ray Torentes, the deceased, tortured them for weeks on end.
Torentes's home is now being searched for a connection to him and to the people that abducted the two.
The female victim is undergoing psychological counseling while the male victim has been transfered to
the psychiatric ward, he was assumed to be tortured longer by Torentes.
The two individuals are still being sought for their role in uncovering Torentes.
